                     Public Training

On Wednesday the 11th of October we have a public full conquest training in our server. Mapsize will be 16 players. Maps: Sharqi Peninsula and Road to Jalalabad. Starting at 19:30GMT.

                     MadGirl Left

We have to start this week with a really sad announcement, and something we thought never to happen: MadGirl has left our clan. cry

I don't know the exact reason but let's say it's personal reasons. She can't find the spirit and joy that she once had and cant put her heart in it and thats important for her. She will not totally disappear but will hold contact with us, also IRL. Best wishes for you from all of us and we hope to see you in game once and a while.

She is still on the memberpage, because our database structure need to be edited before we can do this flawlessly. Click Read More for some extra info.

                     Some squad info

Sadly the match against IDS Instant Death Squad was cancelled. The opponent didn't show up on their own challenge.

So we had no actual practice for friday. There are no tactics planned for the upcoming clanbase match. LineUp will be on our forum on Thursday, especially check Mashtuur City. Seeks will play instead of Stucca in this match. Match starts at 19:30 GMT in our server.

Found this on the internet. This pretty new movie is a parody of Top Gear made by the sir. community. If you like Top Gear (and of course if you like BF2) this is a must see! It's a very good makeover of a real parody about the challenger main battle tank, which is available in Euro Forces.

On Monday the 2nd of October we have tactics for the upcoming friendly match on Wednesday. Starting on 19:30GMT on ATC. We mainly focus on Songhua Stalemate.

On Wednesday the 4th of October we have a friendly conq16 match against Instant Death Squad. Playing on our server; Commander enabled; unlocks are disabled. Maps: Sharqi Peninsula (their map) and Songhua Stalemate (our map). This would be a good prep for Friday the 6th. Match starts at 19:00GMT.

                     Sensi PC Troubles

Sensi: "I have a problem and my computer isnt working correctly. I´ll try to fix it but it may prove impossible. So it might be so that I cant take part to any activities which happens with computer so I´ll be out of action for a while. I got this internet to work even for a while but its awfully slow, internet is only thing that works even a little bit.

It may be that I´am able to play bf2 next time only when i get a new computer and its about 4-6weeks from now. I really hope that I can play bf2 with you all as soon as possible."

No plane symbolized this emphasis better than the STUrzKAmpfflugzeug Junkers Ju 87, the "flying artillery" of the Wehrmacht. Although suffering from several defects, including a low top speed that made it vulnerable to enemy fighters, the Ju 87 (popularly known today as the "Stuka") excelled at pinpoint bombing of battlefield targets.

                     Internal Match

On Saturday the 16th of September we have an internal clanmatch since no outgoing challenges on ClanBase where accepted.

Please post in your comment while checking in.. the 2 maps of preference (16 player mapsize) The teams are made on start and will be seperated on different channels on TeamSpeak. No Commander but unlocks enabled.

Starting at 19:00 GMT in our server. Everyone welcome!

Update: Maps will be Jalalabad and Mashtuur. Every team got 10 minutes for tactics before each round.

                     Multiplay Server Move Details

Just informing you that MPUK is moving London hosting operations to a new datacentre in London, they are now able to provide more detail as to when individual servers are planned to be moving.

Our server (Rohan - 85.236.100.104) will be approximately be moved on Thursday 7th September from 09:00-13:00

Later on Friday, Clanforge will also be temporarily down.

                     Battlefield 2 - 1.4 Patch Released

Today, EA has released the v1.4 patch, both Full (530 MB) and incremental (140MB, for BF2 v1.3) downloadable through the EA downloader.
A weird thing is that I don't see any annoucement by EA yet.

Tomorrow we have a match. I think it's not problem to install the patch because most rented BF2 servers will be kept up-to-date. I think this also counts for the server we will play the match on.

                     POE2 Released!

The Point of Existence mod team has updated their website again with some exciting information. They have finally released the password to the POE2 client torrent.

The client is delivered in a passworded torrent. With these files you can have the PoE:2 client downloadeds. To download them you need a bittorrent client such as Azureus or uTorrent.

                     2142 Tuning Beta Review

Have seen the Beta running at Cobra's place.

Here's a little review:

1) The main menu is lots faster then BF2. Not much has changed though, almost every item from BF2 are in.
2) The server list is fast, but doesn't show pings. Instead of that it shows green, orange and red colors to identify your connection to the servers.
3) Loading of the map takes the same time as BF2 I think. The European map Verdun is the only one available in the beta. (only saw it it Titan mode)

Our clansite has undergone some changes. Part 1 of 2 consists of the following:

                      Battlefield 1.4 Patch Delayed!

Well it appears that some last minute bugs have arised in the latest Battlefield 2 patch and it is going to be delayed. Here's what they had to say:

Due to some last minute changes the release of the 1.4 patch has been delayed. We do not anticipate this delay being a lengthy one, however we do not have a fixed date for release at this time.

So public training is tonight at 19:30 GMT (city maps!)

                     Battlefield 1.4 Patch Announced

As many of you know, the patch announcement for the patch is out. Here's a small piece of translation of the news off of the EA Spain website:

We proudly present “Road to Jalalabad” sponsored by Comcast, and the new server option “Infantry Only” which will give you a new dimension for the classic Battlefield experience. The 1.4 patch will be available next Tuesday, the 15th of August.

Our Chillout Station is back online. The Medal of Honor Gameserver and the Radio Station is switched to a much faster server. The Gameserver runs Basebuilder. Listen the Radio. Chillout-World Music 24/7.

We recognize that this has been a very trying time for everyone who enjoys Battlefield 2 and are putting forth every effort to improve upon the issues that are causing some players frustration. The DICE team has been reviewing player feedback gathered from forums, email, and the ranked server providers in an effort to provide the best possible step forward from 1.3.
