BF2 Patch

EA has posted some bad news about the upcoming 1.2 patch and Euro Force in the latest Community Update. They are both being delayed.

We really felt that it was important to delay the patch and take care of some of the issues that have had the community concerned. This means that it will be released sometime in the next two or three weeks. This, unfortunately, means that the Euro Force Booster Pack will be delayed as well since it relies on the patch. Look for Euro Force to be released in the latter half of February now.

BF2 Patch

By now, you have all seen the list of fixes in the next update (1.2). DICE/EA are still trying to nail down a few final items and put the final touches in place.

Here's a list of additional items to look for in version 1.2:

- UAVs are now visible in the world so if you are being scanned, you can know about it and take action against it.
- Rank progression is no longer limited to the enlisted ranks. All officer ranks are now available.
- Bug that allowed players in vehicles to contest a flag from outside the flag radius is now fixed.

Movie recording

On Friday the 20th of January there will be the next episode of the FFP Battlefield Movie recordings! This time it will be the big scenes, maybe the complete movie! Will finish the common script before Friday and post it on the forum. If you want to be in this movie join Teamspeak and ATC at 19:00 GMT.

BF2 Patch

This movie shows you some of the new BF2 patch features like:
- Not able to fire when jump, just like when sprinting.
- Longer time to go to prone position.
- You can pick up C4 when you are SpecOp.
- The grenade from the assault now bounces.
- Improved AA. Now it totally kicks choppers ass.
- Helicopters now cannot fire more than 8 missiles.
- You now can see the UAV.

On our Member Area there is a new page released cncerning "Member Specialities". You will find the page and more info on the conformable page. For the Call of Duty 2 Squad the items need to be filled in as you will see.

BF2 Patch

EA is working on a new patch named 1.2 and will be released very soon. (This Friday?) This patch have a list of fixed bugs that have been fixed.

The second thing is that EA is working on 2 little Booster Expansion Packs that will be released in the next two months. Read it all HERE

Added the Call of Duty 2 Clanbase match status on the Clan Activities page. Played matches, upcoming matches and the current ladder position are visible.

Battlefield Olympics are up - to - date. Including the new C4 part. Check it at the Clan Activities page.

On the Member Area is a new link available to the FFP_Olympics map. Maybe this one works for those who had problems to join.

BF2 Patch

* Patch 1.2 is almost completed and will be released before the launch of the first booster pack.
* Patch 1.3 will be released before the launch of the second booster pack (spring 2006)
* The changelog of patch 1.2, released earlier this month, is not complete. Besides the gameplay changes,
patch 1.2 will contain many clientside bugfixes.
* Both 1.2 and 1.3 patch will be large is size because of the ingame-support for the booster packs containing new maps, vehicles and weapons.
* The patch will be released in two versions: one full patch (1.x to 1.2) and one incremental patch (1.12 to 1.2).

There is a slight chance we get a other opponent tomorrow instead. Further information will be here as soon as I have it. Attention!

Main problems regarding how this site shows up in Mozilla Firefox are resolved. Many other small bugs need to be revised though. Please report any bug regarding this site in either MS Internet explorer or Firefox. I am aware of a major bug on the Join-Form page.

Will also try to get the site W3C XHTML 1.0 Transitional validated.New SPAM filter settings made to @ffpclan mail accounts.

Site Report Week 26

Due to some things I skipped report week 25. I now have the final skin for newspost complete. Changed some colors in the menu and did create the subpanel below the main menu. This include affiliates, webstats, a quicknews scroller (almost 3 hours to get a good one) and the paypal section. The main page is almost finished now cool

Fragger made progression by making ranks editable and added numbers to all the ranks...!

Site Report Week 24

After several weeks of studying I continued working on the site.

Some items are removed from the main menu. The newsposts now have a whole new skin behind it. It looks nice but I don't like it 100% so that will change the upcoming weeks.

Fragger and me discussed if it is needed to make the site Firefox compatible. This is very difficult due to hard colours, textsize and css styles. We think we keep it MSI best viewable.

The FFP database can now handle ranks and usergroups!

Site Report Week 20

New Webstatistics MYSQL database added for extended webtraffic statistics. Implemented in header section.

Gameserver and Teamspeak statistics added to the right section.

Added smileys for newsposts smile

Also added new Category: Birthdays and its own avatar:

Login box for newssystem added on mainpage, replacing the Vwar login. Don't know if this is the final position yet.

Fragger made progress on the FFP database. Members can be added, deleted, passworded and renamed. Also 3 different user levels are made. Global admin section is made.

Site Report Week 19

This week I made the layout better.. (I think it is better at least) Costs several hours to paint the pixels...

Now there is also a upload script added to be implemented for the Picture of the week and Screenshot of the week. MadGirl gets control over this.

Fragger started this week with the database behind the pages! I will keep you up to date about this progress.

Site Report Week 18

This week I searched, and finally found a visitor - online script. It keeps track how much visitors are watching our site at a specific moment. No big deal, but hard to find....

I also introduced the "donato - meter". A sort of thermometer to keep track of the status of every payments to our facilities. Not implemented on any page yet, but it works.

New Site

This week (week 17 2005) I started to work on our new clansite. This week I created the global layout and all images connected to it.

I also inserted extra options of Vwar database.
Including: Small Calendar, Today, Last played wars (2), Upcoming 2 matches, Shoutbox, Poll and Member login.

The next weeks I will post the changes made to the site untill release date (expected half August)
